“Colossal... Furious, epic and absolutely immense.”
“RXPTRS have no desire to conform, and their resulting creativity is truly refreshing...
They are in a world of their own, and that’s precisely why they’re already scaling the ranks of the British metal at an alarming rate.”

RXPTRS are a rock band from Bristol, UK, formed in 2018 consisting of vocalist Simon Roach, guitarists Ian Chadderton and Harley Watson, bassist Sam Leworthy and drummer Mat Capper. The quintet combines a mix of ferocious grit with an ear for melody.
RXPTRS create a visceral live show brimming with energy that features a sound which fuses elements of rock, metal, punk and hardcore, a conscious decision and a sonic mission statement to not succumb to a single barrier.
The group of long-term friends set out to make the music they wanted to hear. “We live in a post-modern age and our sound reflects this,” said vocalist Simon Roach. “With access to hundreds of years of music at our fingertips, we can’t deny the creative influence this has on us.”
‘We wanted to document our lives through our music. Who better to tell our stories than us, we’re inspired by the events that have shaped us’.
There are deeply personal meanings and themes behind RXPTRS’ songs, with each track directly relating to an event or experience from the members lives. ‘The music is a vessel, a form of therapy. We can express our anger, frustrations and confusion with interpersonal issues, problems with society and much more through a medium that people can move to.’
